While being idle in Druim Ligen for this morning there was this L21 Eldritch called Falix constantly spamming the broadcast channel begging for 5g

Now, ive nothing against helping a new player, or a L20 toon to port to somewhere more usefull, but after this guy had got 5G he continuted to spam "g gold pls".

So if you see him - dont be suckered in

Its not the ammount of gold that people are complaining about, its the fact hes there constantly and its pretty annoying.

I watched in Amazement 7 days ago as Microhard on a alb/pywd alt <Cleric> made 2p in 5 mins @ Sauvage spamming <New player needs help getting started > etc

Like i said - its not the cash, i would gladly give any true new player a helping hand. Its the fact that someone begs for cash and when they get help they keep on begging, its just pure greed.

The point of the post is to make people aware when they see this guy broadcasting for "5 gold pls" they know that others have already given him gold.

True, but it aint the cash that bothers me... what bothers me is that im feeling fooled after ive given the person a small amount of gold, and he just spams the same line 2 secs after accepting... It's pure greed.

what is 5g??? donno there was times when i was counting g by g
now in daoc i count money in plats... so 5 g is like 10 mins RvR (ull get money from there as well)
i remember times when i was broke and asked for 5g from 1 player (when my warden was still lvl 23) and than asked from 1 more for 5 more to buy helm i needed (as i thought ok hes 50 he got money i ask 1-2 players and get money) but i wasnt broadcasting it and i asked nicly by sending pm and than spammed /hug /bow to those

ok some ppl tend to become the biggest beggars and collecting a lot of money this way but still if any1 ask me for some money (if hes not annoying) ill give
