Fairy Lights

Probably everybody but me knew this, but recently we put up our Christmas decorations, including the usual lights on the tree and in the windows. All week-end I had been getting constantly dropped from DAoC when apparently no-one else was. This was occurring around 4pm onwards - as it was just getting dark. Found out (when I forgot to put them on once) THEY were trhe cause of my broadband interference.

So beware, if you get dropped from your BB connection, check the Xmas lights.

Warning! Flashing fairies can affect your health.

And this belongs in the midgard Daoc section because?
....because Midgard DAoC is where I was when it happened. No idea if other realms/games have the same problem. If it's out of place, no doubt it'll get moved.

I'll open another barrel of sloe-gin. See you in the Teetering Tomte.

All races welcome but NO MEN. They drink too much anyway..

Alone and at home, I can understand. But why in the dark? You might drink lager by mistake...:)

Nate, O Great One :worthy: , if only men were allowed in pubs, even they wouldn't go there (unless gay). afaik most go to pull - and I dont mean their pints or their plonkers. ofc I might have been misinformed - not speaking from experience you understand. :fluffle:

I do believe I am truly great, but anyway..most men go in to pubs to receive beer goggles, once they have these they may go out to more womenly populated areas(such as Debenhams) with the false vision of believing all women are fit ;o

Great my arse!!!!

And as Tesla said, Natipoos your down right scary.. you require the beer to enhance yourself believe that when you go to more women populated areas their actually finding you appealing and laughing with you.

As the wise saying goes: alcohol will lead you to believe people are laughing with you!

D.

Merry xmas folks.

Actually, alcohol often leads blokes to believe they're lying face down in the gutter counting the grains in the tarmac...

Used to have a problem with our doorbell going off at really peculiar times when I lived with my parents permanently but mostly during the night.

It was only when it happened during the daytime whilst I was fully awake that I noticed it was the sidelight in my room (upstairs) was setting off the doorbell. It happened mostly at night and not when I first woke up because I was always being quiet at night out of curtesy. Turning off the light gently (It was kinda loud) would set it off.

When I discovered this I had a fun day at least :D

Since then some really obscure things have set it off, including opening the fridge o_O I presume it was down to the fridge light.
