He could even be one of the mugs that think Man U play in Manchester :)

United play less than one mile from the city of Manchester boundaries and well within the Greater Manchester boundaries. You can walk to the ground from Manchester city centre in well under an hour. They were formed in East Manchester, quarter of a mile from when they blue half of the city now play, so what is the point you are trying to make?

The fact they play in Salford mean they do not play in Manchester they play on the out skirts. Its a nice way to check if a mank has ever gone to the ground ask where they turn off and if they say Manchester not Salford you know they are either shit drivers or like going the long way.

Its like Arsenal we play in Highbury not London its pedantics maybe but Man U play in Salford not Manchester

I won't argue that point at all i know it's true, but in fairness it was/is exactly the same with Man Utd after they won the treble.

lol why bring man u into it?

Utd have always had the biggest attendances in the league even before SAF took over, even in the old 2nd division, we still had 50,000.

I agree with Unleashed.

United always have been an extremely popular team. We've had huge supporters before & after the Treble and in my experiance, the amount of Utd fans have gone down-hill lately because more and more people are being Chelski fans.

Whereas Chelski didn't have as many fans during the oldern days (only God knows why not - having such talent as Le Saux & Zooooola) but since buying world-class players with a near-unlimited budget, the amount of supporters has grown quite drastically.

Maybe they're not glory supporters, but a lot of supporters have invaded Chelsea's home :)

I'm not trying to place blame or anything on Man U, chillax

What i am saying is at any stage where a team is putting in a lot of effort and getting the success they deserve (call it buying the title or whatever), but Chelsea have worked their arse off the last 2 years and they've got the rewards.

Man Utd put a fucking tonne of effort in to win the treble and rightly so, however you can't deny that after then the more avid supporters of Man Utd, genuine or otherwise, increased.

Success will generally cause an increase in supporters, it's part and parcel of the game.

I went to go to Old Trafford as a Portsmouth fan ofc :D and I have to admit, Pompey where ran over, they defended ace etc but when they went forward, they kept loosing it and pressure is back on again and again and again. If Christiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney started it would of been a totally different game. Sol Campbell man of the match imo. Class player for a class team. Play up Pompey.

Vald is telling the truth

Man U when they were dominating had a large amount of London business buying hospitality season tickets. So they can take clients there to wine and dine ect. When Arsenal won the double we had them. Now Chelski are domination they have them. They follow the champions to show off. So if Man U win the league this year my old company will try to get the season ticket back :)
