I heard a rumour that it goes a bit funny if you use Freeloader. I'm glad I have a US/JAP GC.

I totally forgot it was out in Japan now. So I presume you like it?

IT won't work properly with FL (current versions) - you are correct.

Menu screen is gets all fucked up and the clock ingame is gone too.

Do I like it?

I do but it doesn't live up to my astronomical expectations.

Faults:
Pop-up on the forest levels.
Music is cack.

But, and I stress this, it is a superb game still. The sense of speed is astounding and it has all the playability of F-Zero X. Menus are 50:50 English/Jap but very easy to navigate.

8/10 from me.

I was never that keen on past F-Zeros. I don't know why but they just didn't appeal to me much.

I don't know much about GC releases anymore but the end of July sticks in my mind as the release of Mario Golf. I think I'll just get that then wait till the end of the year when some big games are out like Rebel Strike and 1080.
