After 3 years and 3 million rps outspecced from smite. Was a really hard decision/promise to make and even harder to actually keep it especially after I promised it at rr5, rr6, rr7, rr7l3 and rr8 xD

I don't think smite was a bad spec even after nerf, in Odin it was an ace spec in duo/trio and caused me lot of fun, thats why didnt respec until now. Unfortunatly buff shear, ToA and NF were the real nerf. Less and less skirmish and the feeling you can't do shit in most fg fights apart from healing took the fun away. With clustering inc there will be even less skirmish, so that was the last nail in my spec coffin.

Would like to thank the ppl who invited me sometimes into grp as smiter and told me in their weak moments to stay smiter. Could name loads of ppl, but name only 2 who helped me over my depressed smiter period: Ilum for the old morning emain grps and Littles for the last months in 2004 just before hit rr8.

Always enjoyed our Duo's and I'm gutted that you gone from smite as you were one of only a few I could name that still ran as smite.

However I understand why you gone to rejuv so best of luck in that. Hope I get a chance to group with you again.

Imo aoe buffs isn't way to good, i almost never use em myself. Ofc Kairamar might find it usefull in his bomb groups for aoe buffshearing in the bomb, but in normal fights you dont want to break CC

40 enh 33 rej 11 smite for start (wanted to get 40/32/17 but missing 4 points :< )

To tell me after 3 years being smiter that I spec to be fotm is kinda funny ^^

Reasons I respec:

1. Running in FGs mostly since came back, smite against hibs: 175 (-185) so just waste of power, against mids a bit better 245 (-125), but still kinda pointless. Recently hardly smote at all. If I can/need to smite, it means: a) we are fecked, but if I smite others die sooner but we prolly can get a kill at least b) we would won even if I just sit down, why dont smite then? So since I came back I hardly the smiting machine anyway.
2. Smite range is 1350 and costs 31 power, while single shears are 1500 and 12 power. So while I can casts 2 smites to hit ~500, the con - str/con shears would outdmg my dd for 40% mana.
3. Wont be able to do morning runs anymore, where smite actually kicked ass in 2-3vs2-5 and I dont get the crap that after cluster it wont be more zergy.
4. Waited for some smite balancing shit, but it never will happen. Albion is the only realm where the main healer class 3rd line is totally useless. Didnt want uber nuclear dmg, but some utility what is actually usefull. Just compare pac base line with smite...
5. I play for fun and not cause I want to be unique. My spec doesnt give me any fun during the RvR recently, just because I cant do anything apart from healing or stunning.
6. And last: I try to play with friends again, my spec can ruin their game and their fun as well. In a team game the fun of your grpmates is as important as yours. Even if I know that most of them wouldnt whine seriously if I havent respecced.

Maybe I will regret my choice. But without the respec I would stop the game after acc ran out.
