So i ordered some stuff from e-buyer, some DVD's, memory and bits and bobs, and as usual i'm not here to recieve it when Shitty Link deliver

So (as usual) i travel 20 miles to Basingstoke to collect, to find i can only pick up half of what i have ordered, cos the other half is sitting in their depot in Epsom, 40 miles in the other direction!!!

What is the fucking point of that? So i call the Epsom depot and ask if they can take the package to their Basingstoke depot?

Apparenlty not, they cant do that without e-buyer telling them so!!!

Arrrrrggggggghhhhhh!!!!!!

So pissed off, and its bloody snowing again

I buy all my stuff from Ebuyer now, never had any problems with their delivery system. Shittylink is another matter, they suck cock, lots.

i had problems with shitty link last week

they claimed they had put a card through our door and we werent in and at no point during the day did they call at my house and there was no card .. so cause i missed that they couldnt deliver again till monday this week cause of the snow :/

had problems before that they 'lost' 3 tv's that were apparently shipped to me ... from the same store

So i ordered from some one else and ooo got it first time.

crappy deliver service

never had a problem with parcel force

Another vote for Ebuyer being good, but ShittyF**kingShittyLink being the worst delivery company in the country...

posted a thread about this last year, shittylink seem to do this a lot, surprised it hasn't been mentioned on watchdog or something. How are they allowed to get away with it??

Ebuyer are very good, they really really need to use a new delivery service though, shitty link are terrible.

Only delivery company worse than ShittyLink is Parcels2Go which a few too many people like to trust their ebay sellings to :/

I've had huge issues with eBuyer in the past but I exercise the same caution with them as any other company - i.e. I have consumers rights and if something doesn't go to plan there's plenty of means to sort them out :>

don't get me started on couriers. please. there will be blood everywhere! recently I got in a beef with UPS: there is a depot within 5 miles of my house, and they simply refuse to keep stuff there for me, but prefer to store it in a depot some 65 km from my home.

Trying to get them to anything else is like having a conversation with HAL9000. "can you not move the parcel from depot X to depot Y? I'm sorry, I can't do that sir."

My BFF used to work at City Link head office in Camberley. Sounds like it was run by a shower of absolute jokers.

Shitty Link are jokers. I remember a couple of years ago I ordered a fairly large UPS to be delivered to my work address. At about 4.30pm I saw the van arrive in the car park so I legged it down to catch the bloke to avoid him bringing it upstairs and me having to carry it back down to the car again. I figured Id just chuck it straight in the boot.

The guy greeted me and said "You were lucky to get this today. Ive had enough, I cant be arsed any more so I was going back to the depot. But this address was on the way so I thought I'd stop in". (yeah, thanks for doing me such a big favour... its not like it's your job or anything!)

Anyway, when he opened the van door it must have still been about half full. I know that some people wont have been in, but this seemed like a huge amount of stuff to have left...

I had a problem with ebuyer a while ago, this is a quote!
Nate from a while ago said:
ebuyer have fucked up twice now, other hardware is here already. Both times I've ordered through google checkout with ebuyer it goes through a few stages, takes the money out of my account and fails on security. I tried the enote ticket thing they use, didn't make any sense out of it as she obviously clicked the wrong ticket when the last thing I've heard is "we'll send the wires to you wednesday" WHAT FUCKING WIRES!

So I rung em up, was told it was a security issue and should try not going through google checkout, played the sympathy card but obviously she's a lezzer as she wouldn't give me free next day delivery.

So hopefully it'll be here tomorrow.
I got some free deliveries on next orders after a while aswell :) I'd still use them.

Shitty link have caused me problems both times I've used them. 1st time I had to go out to the depot in livingston, seeing as I have no transport this was a Bus on a saturday morning job.

Most recent time they said they carded my door 2 days in a row, both days I was home all day and there wasnt a card in sight. I called on the friday to complain and shouted at them til they agreed to a saturday delivery - then said to phone on saturday morning to make sure it was on the van. I duly phoned on saturday to get an automated message saying they were closed.

Searching the net for direct numbers to their depot I did stumble on a 20 page forum thread of people with similar issues

Ok, you all seem to be bigging up ebuyer and slagging off City Link, i dont have a problem with City Link, its not their fault this time, its ebuyer

They tried again yesterday to deliver (for the 3rd time) a spool of DVD's worth £6, it must be costing them a fortune!! City Link told me they need authorisation from ebuyer to change the delivery address, which i dont have a problem with, but ebuyer wont let me change the delivery address because the order has 'gone through' and been dispatched, unless i paid £9.50 for a re-direction, to which i said no way as its not my problem they broke the order up into 2 seperate deliveries, and dispatched them from depots 50 miles apart!!

The courier phoned my old place of work yesterday to try to get hold of me, i left there 1 half years ago, but that was the number he had from ebuyer, i changed the info ages ago, so i dont know how they still have the number??

They now say that after today if i am not here to recieve it (which i wont be as i'm off to work in a mo) it would go back to ebuyer, i would be refunded and then have to re-order!!

Arrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (again)

I'm finding the original post really disturbing. It seems Edmond lives not very far from me.

You could go to a shop and pick up the same number of dvd for just a few pounds more. Ebuyer does 50 DVD-R for £6 and you can get that at PC world for £10....

Just got home, and after them telling me that they would not redirect to another address unless i pay, the City Link driver has left a card saying he has left them with my next door with my neighbour

Only problem now is that they are with the neighbours from hell whom i do not have anything to do with cos they're a pair of fucking cocks

I give up...........:twak:

tsssss then stop calling the billing department for that!

yes I work for UPS so I know a little bit about that. But what depot do you live close to? caus you might live next to the medical depot where I am kind of hoping your stuff doesnt fall under :O (like 60 kg of human semen.....)
