After being mainly into prog and hard house im starting to listen to more dnb style stuff. Anyone got any recommendations for me to listen to? I like the jazzy, chilled out dnb.. tried Bukem's 'Journey Inwards' which I found to be a little *too* jazzy. Also got a couple of Kruder and Dorfmeister albums which are fantastic.. so more along those lines i'm looking at.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if its what your looking for but Ambient Techno and chilled DnB share the same vibe, so check out

Aphex Twin - their latest ambient thing was out this feb, well worth a look.

The darker faster side is represented by The Crystal Method, who you may not have heard of, but will most certainly have heard, as they have had their tunes in about 20-50 films.

Blade 2, Romeo Must die, Gone in 60 seconds, and a shitload more.

I have a friend who told me one of his favourite bands was The Aphex Twins, I battered him to death tied an engine block to him and dumped him in the Thames after puncturing his stomach and lungs.

Quite right.

I'd have thrown him in a cage with rabid wombats first.
