Ok, Windows, play games, do stuff, spend more time rebooting than playing.
Now, I know that most of the time we are always "advised" to reboot the computer when Explorer crashes, but, lets face it, we can never be bothered with the 5 minute start up time and just try to carry on. However, the biggest problem I find is that I lose the system tray, and all icons in it (eg DUN, AntiVirus, IRC, etc). Some programs restart (well, MSN(lame) messenger does), I am wondering now if there is some kind of system tray monitor program out there which is capable of monitoring these icons/programs and restoring their icons after a crash, does anyone know of one?
Please help as I need to reconnect but really don't want to restart the computer again... grrr
