Major, major spoiler alert, but this movie is so worth it to watch if you haven't seen it before. Contains footage of currently closed off places ingame. I can't wait to see it go live.

he hosted his own server (those area's already exist in the game we play atm) and explored them, kinda like everyone hosted his own wow game when the alpha version of it leaked, he can use some commands (coordinates) to get him high up in the air and let him fall down (xxxxx,yyyyy,nnnnn). there is no cheating here, and he always drinks an potion or uses slow fall (priest, mage ability) to float around. there is no cheat at all in that movie.

The issue was adressed on the blizzard.com wow boards, since someone wanted to create a 'shard'. And Bliz won't allow it - since they'd miss out on $15 per player that plays on a shard obviously.

Yes when hosting it to the public, doubt they care about you running around in your own offline dummy server, unless they believe they'd miss out $15 for that, well, good luck tracking those down then
