Executelle from Ithil Galad - Class act!

So we're setting up at Shades of Mist encounter, have 2 animists gathered from people in Typhons along with bard/druid and warden. We're getting ready to pull, have setup mushie and stuff, and from out of the blue Executelle comes running into the circle ...

She goes to statue, and takes off running with a Greater after her, probably with PhaseShift active. We are like "WTF" and I send her a tell ... where the reply is "I was just getting the salamander out of the way" .. and I reply " The sally will die to shrooms in 10 secs..." only to get "Executelle is not in game ...

Nice work ... hope you're happy.. Come 1.69 your precious PhaseShift wont work in PvE so you better screw people up the ass before that time comes...

Well, I expect this to be worthless anyway, since even my guild have been accused of campstealing (but not in this lameass way) .. I guess the point of post was more to let you know incase you get some bad encounters with atleast this solo bard. I wont say it reflect on his guild cause they might be a great bunch of people, but Exe isnt a very glorious example of them anyway ..

hehe one time, our guild Censere did gather around SoM encounter to start doing it only to see a Celtic fist, memeber sorry forgot name atm, but it was a bard,
he did run in, talked to the statue, and just run with all 3 greaters after him,, just to got told later, he toke the cloak and used his ml 6 soj ability to portal, so he can get people and make the ecounter when they get there =)

thats nice of em, when we getting ready to do encounter and they sort of just snagg it infront of our nose ;P


that thing might not work, but it seams that it did, cuz 1 of the greaters never got back after 1 hour ;(

Exe had been camping there for 6-7 hours, surely you must have noticed that he was there first. I don't think you would have cared about one bard, who was there first, who still needed some time to gather a fg to do the encounter, so shut up about ethics will you?

Thanks for clearing out who took the cloak Adari, next time you deside to screw us just let us know up front and we wont bother killing the encounter after cloak is stolen. Why should we, with your camping there it will only be taken each time it spawns.

Nice work. No more SOM for us until 1.69 where we can actually count on the cloak being there.

First of all "stolen" is not the right word, because no one owned it in the first place. The encounter is just activated. You _know_ that the cloak has been taken because the statue doesn't glow, therefore it is your own choise to finish the encounter or not.

Executelle had been standing there for 6-7 hours to get the cloak, when it popped I got it for her. Seeing as she was there first, by the "unwritten rules" you seem to like, she deserved the cloak.

Also, what exactly did we mess up, seeing as you didn't do anything? You were just standing there, didn't shroom, didn't pull. I ran past you with Executelle, so I think it is rather obvious I was the one who activated the encounter. Had you started pulling or at least doing SOMETHING at all, I wouldnt have interfered, but seeing as you hadn't, and as Exe was there first, I think it wasn't unreasonable for me to take it.

What I find unreasonable however, is that despite of the facts that Exe was there for hours, and that you hadn't started the encounter then, you expected to rush in there and do the encounter anyway. Getting mad because somebody else did this before you is kind of pathetic. Like you said ingame, you would have groupped Exe. Well, Exe didn't camp there to be groupped, and I know for sure that you wouldn't have left the encounter for him to finish it if I wasn't online. "Nice work" - eh?

I thought about it and realized its nothing to get upset about really. People will do whatever they can to get what they want, no considerations about others anyway. This is just the nature of the human mind. So I dont care anymore. Maybe it was Exes SOM in the first place, maybe not, doesnt matter. Next patch will just prevent this exploit but will ofcourse do nothing to how people think, so its all gonna be the same anyway. Anyway, dont with it .. vented all I needed and it didnt get anywhere anyway, not that it was expected either

Thought it was phaseshift you used, not gateway, my mistake. Anyway, 1.69 phaseshift wont work against NPC mobs and guards, and the timer on gateway will be upped to about 20 secs (30 secs for mass gateway). I guess its mostly to prevent these kinda encounter-exploit (yes, its an exploit, on the other hand its not a cheat)..
