Exchange and E-Mail

Dunno whether anyone has any ideas with this one - been asked by someone doing an investigation (!) if he can do the following:

Exchange 5.5 running on NT4 server.

Can he access another persons mailbox covertly. i.e. see their mail, but the sender doesn't get a receipt and the mail doesn't appear opened to the recipient. Giving them direct access to the mailbox will not do this, as the mail will appear opened, and the sender will get a receipt. Will auto-forwarding work - to another mailbox ? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers

Actually now i think about it (swining busy in work tonight) thats more an attack kind of thing. Have you trawled through sites like securityfocus.com for such info?

You can log into other peeps mail on exchange dead easy, but as you say it ends up being "read" and as for receipts! - thats about the only thing left that isn't a requirement on our works mail system
