Ok it goes like this:-

a). Its opentransit that are shit and not GOA or GOAs servers honest. The servers are in Paris and the bit of the internet that connects france to the rest of the world is appaling.

b). Theres f*** all GOA or anyone can do about opentransit being randomly terrible.

c). These problems wont appear for anyone working at GOA as they work within the french internet system. So dont be suprised when GMs etc deny any knowledge of any problems encountered by 90%+ of the players on a non-french speaking server like excal/pry. Shame they cant monitor that themselves and report on it, but I guess they dont have the finances or will to setup a machine to monitor problems that those outside paris experince.

d). If you persist in blaming the servers then youll be asked for pingplots, which will point to opentransit, but ultimatly do nothing towards fixing the problem as GOA cant do anything and opentransit obviously dont care.

e). Only solution is to not play online games that are hosted in France...

There seems to be a general but intermittent problem with Telia as we've had several reports from players who are connecting via them over the past few days.
If you're having problems then pingplot it. If the problem appears to start in your ISP's network then rag them about it. They are responsible not only for your connection to their servers but also your forward route to the destination address. If the problem starts at OT then RightNow it (as Darzil says there is now a dedicated category for lag reports which goes direct to our techs) if we can identify a problem in our network we can deal with it immediately, if it's in OT then we have a lot of escalation measures to get it dealt with as rapidly as possible. What we can't do unfortunately is make problems in other people's networks go away. If your problem begins with Telia then you should get onto them first.

yep, i know called earlier to company (sonera) and what i heard, they cannot do jack but after whine (do i need call sweden etc?) she promise? give problem up to someone.
sad part is, telia own sonera, same company + customer support is pure crap.
few years ago send ping etc where was clearly addres what cut my route to game, yet i was blamed to having fault in own pc (send via email, why it worked? ).... suprise, connection up after day.
