What is wrong with some people telling eachother to "die irl" etc, and make an argument over nothing..... only because u play a character in a different realm, and because the other realm is always overpowered in your opinion?

Aye, I totally agree. Tbh, when you look at some of the stuff said to Repent it almost makes you feel sorry for him. Then you see the stuff he said back and just realise he's as bad as everyone else.

i agree with you amigo. mate, you cant blame them for being children. but you know soe people really try to help the realm in a RPG way. acting having fun etc. I never have so uch fun playing with my thane with a group having other thanes. i played some rvr too and most people are friendly and we have loads of fun.

many people are too much oriented at confict and farming rp. but anyway there is much room to have fun. just ignore them focused at only owning people. i myself have contacted mythic and discussed my own class being to powerful. i want balance when i group - not only berzerks should do all damage. now they changed it to balance and its veryfun. we can share aggro and such. very fun. i hope this spriti will travel to rvr too. but i hear some new classes have been made stronger. but dont be sad - i am sure mythic will fix this too.

It's always easier to vent your opinions in a forum, I would personally rather see that those ppl got to meet ech other irl and deal with it instead of throwing alot of crap at each other claiming to be l33T.

I'm so friggin tired of those who claims to be so friggin good at a simple game, when u can talk and do the things irl, then and ONLY then it would be fair IMO.

It's just a game but some ppl take it way to serious and feel that they been "this and that" by someone else in game.

It was exactly the same in Diablo2, ppl claiming to be so Über in game putting those who choosed not to play hardcore, down just cause themselves felt that they owned someone else in the game. Just plain silly.

Maybe barrysworld should moderate these forums a lot harder, not just editing but banning people... that might help :/

It's quite an interesting phenomena really... here you got thousands and still thousands of people from all over the world, probably very likeminded and nice, but when divided into one out of three teams/realms they act like... well... like it's not a game. Personally I'm fascinated by it so I'm not very annoyed, but it's obviously not correct to claim that a realm consisting of thousands of players are ALL a-holes because you've had a few bad experiences with them. But aye, it IS rather amusing all and all :lol:

Agree, its not just realm vs realm though, you get some really nasty malignant little people insulting and being abusive to their own realm "mates" imo people should take logs, report them to goa, get them kicked, no need for nasty behaviour in the GAME.

Was in bg1 other night , albs campin mtk , did normall sb suacide run , runnin back i was gettin healed by a shammie , who had small heals so used most pow on me. anyways some dude died and his m8 asked for a rez. shammie was gettin pow so his m8 released, guy turns round and says " F***ing biatch !! hope you die" now this was to his own realm m8 , and reall pi**ed me off. some peeps need attitude adjustment imo.

I just think you're being immature and antisocial. Your post simply highlights exactly what the original poster was talking about, and I for one agree that anyone who makes comments like this should be warned once then banned indefinatly. After all, although most of the people using these forums are adults, there may be some children viewing them, or some people may have kids that read as they browse the forums. I know of at least one person that refuses to continue using them because of what gets written, mostly unecessarily.

From now on, I intend to report each post I see with excessive foul comments to the mods, I don't care if some peope think I'm being oversensitive, if a stand isn't taken soon who knows what level the boards will drop too, they are currently a useful source of ingame information, but these comments only serve to overshadow this.

I urge anyone else who feels this way should do the same, hopefully if enough people start bringing this to the attention of the mods such drivel will cease to exist on these boards.

Doubt it, I can't see them banning someone for 'excessive reporting of unsavory posts' really, imagine the message they would be giving out then?

Besides, I'm not talking about reporting them because I feel the mods are not doing their job right, I actually feel sorry for the mods here sometimes. Trying to moderate these boards must be like holding back a hurricane with a wet tissue. The idea behind reporting a post is to highlight it to the mods so they don't have to go trawling through pages and pages of threads.

I don't mind when there's a bit of swearing, that can be expected considering people tend to get emotional with characters they've spent so much time developing. It's when you get the morons who seem to think a sentence isn't correct without one, two or twenty expletives, death threats and such in that gets me wound up.
