Exams & DAOC...

A number of our guild are currently taking a break from DAOC for a few days to revise for and take exams. One of them (Kirennia) said that he'd have to remember to write properly in exams, and not use some of the online slang. This got me wondering what some of the answers might look like if people just happened to forget where they were....


Question: Write a precis of the classic Shakespeare story, Macbeth.

Answer: "First of all MacBeth pwned everyone. But then MacBeth got pwned cos he fecked up not purging when he got mezzed by them 3 overpowered hibby biatches. Should have purged, slammed them, whipped out his pole and ganked em up the arse. Then they couldnt have cast that debuffing spell. That let the l33t guy come along and pwn Mac even though he was unbuffed (what a n00b). He didnt get any dropz, but he got to claim his keep. The end. K thx bye."

Macbeth was running round with teh zerg!!11 with his guildmate Banquo and pharming some RP. pwned Cawdor and got a shiny amulet from his GM.

Then he met some sorceress chicks, cept they were butt ugly or something, probably blokes irl anyway. they gave him some uber buffs and told him he was better than the other suxx0rs in his guild. Macbeths gf (L4d33 Macbeth, wot's in teh guild too) said he should tell that Duncan (the GM) to sod off and that he's not r0><><0rin enough.

So he got the GM round to the keep for a larf and /dueled and pwned him too! (Macbeth r0xx0rs!)
(people say he cheated n stuff but hey he used IP and that's cool, he paid for it).

But that Banquo fella wouldn't shut up so he pwned him too, put him in his place. Now Macbeth was GM and everyone had to listen to what he said, yeah. He was teh r0><><0rz.

He pwned some more and some uppity low-levellers tried to say they shoulda been GM after Duncan but Macbeth pwned them and they ran away to get some hibs to help.

The hibs came back with a massive zerg and some bloke called Duncan, and used ch33tz0rs to sneak up to Caer Dunsinane through the trees. Then Duncan pwned Macbeth (and L4d33 Macbeth jumped from the tower coz she didn't like not being l33t - was probably a bloke irl anyway) and made one of the lower level d00ds GM instead (tho I think Duncan should have been GM - he's far cooler).

i actually did this with one of my units course work had to go through and correct about 40 pages of work cos i kept typing stuff like

I thought I was the only person with this problem. I can watch myself type each induvidual letter nice and slowly and it still seems to come out as teh. Conspiracy I reckon.

And teh Macrophage pwnes deh bacterial species Clostridium Hibernium by surrounding it and zerging it with some l33t skilz.

Then teh Hibernium /releases back to the htk and tries to invade the ALb fronteir again....

(I would do this but i'd probably get kicked out of uni, and that means no cable connection next year :/ remember kids do your work so YOU can get a connection that doesnt lag when more than 2 mobs spawn in the same /loc )
