I just watched this film (I saw the other 2 a few years ago), and it was one of the funniest things in ages.

'Well hellloooo Mr Fancy pants - you're in charge of two things here, Jack, and Shit, and Jack just left town'

I was choking with laughter at the bit where he tries to stomp one of his 'mini-selves'. I had to call an ambulance.

Sam Raimi (the Director of all 3, and also the dude behind Spiderman), and Bruce Campbell have both said they're interested in doing a 4th film, but want it to be another low budget affair, and are waiting on a decent script.

I got the first one on DVD and I have to say that Bruce campbell's commentary is the funniest I've ever heard.

I have all 3 on tape, in a boxset I bought about 10 years ago.

And I've bought the first two so far on DVD, mainly for said commentaries.

Still to get AOD on DVD yet.

I have seen both endings, tbh I think the cinematic ending is the better of the two, although the director's cut contains some pretty funny sequences (in the windmill, where Ash is slipping on that gooey stuff).

I still chuckle every time I think of the mini-evil-Ashes.

Yeah! loved the Evil dead series of films. The third one is my favorite. Only Brue campbell could pull the Ash charater off so well. The best tongue in cheak flick ever.
