its kinda hard to tell but,

has midgard prydwen had any events yet cause i havnt noticed but i keep hearing about the other realms getting them.....
there really cool and i want to be there when one happens!! so if anyone knows pls tell moi

also can someone explain what that thing with the giant rat near huginfell was all about pls

afaik, only the other Realms had events so far. Hibernia some story telling contest, and Albion some kidnapping (what I heard of it sounded great).

The Giant Lemur west of Huginfell pops by from time to time and calls every rat-like creature towards him. Never were able to catch him (only seen him lagging towards Huginfell sometimes) so I don't know what makes him spawn. There's also a big green monster on the road from Myrkwood(?) towards Nalliten from time to time. It's called 'Kraken'. Same as above, no idea when it spawns.

I am proud to say that Kraken has killed my shadowblade at an ealier level. He almost NEVER spawns

I wondered who Kraken was. Met him the other day - he was walking on water off the beach at Nailten. Followed him for a little while then killed him - he was grey. Bit boring really.

WTF happened to the Spindle Boss? Ond?

When we were in our mid-late 30's in spindle, a Head Hunters Swat Team went all thru the slayer tunnels and we came across Ond, we killed him and got a TL Bladestopper.

Since then we aint seen him ever

We had an event about a month ago, when my alt Hecia was contacted by a shifty looking Svartalf Shaman near Askheim.

Do a search and you should find the thread (started by Nucleus).

The Giant Lemur and Kraken are extremely rare spawns. Standard game mobs.

As is Ond. Ond is a wuss. Sometimes he drops absolutely nothing. So don't hunt him down...he's in the 54+ range (purple to L44?), and at L44.5 or so my warrior with mid 30 shield and 42 parry (items) could tank him without being touched. The orange con feeders hit harder than he does. (He's at the end of the MS tunnel...but as said, is extremely rare)

As for events. Yes, Pryd-Mid does have events. We had one last night. And I know of 2/3 others that have happened in the past. None have been "large". In time, there will be LARGE events, stories that take place over time. In the end, you've really just gotta keep your eyes and ears open...because 99% of the time, someone will happen apon an event by accident.

just a quick question i remember a letter from sanya on the old boards in wich he said goa wasen't able too do events till patch 1.48 because mythic couldn't give them the right tools or something like that.can't really remember.i found that really strange at that time,keeping end of beta event in mind,but didn't responded.
and now it seems we do have events?getting confused here

p.s.that gonnur guy yesterday was a fake zerker.he had a sword and leftaxe but was wearing a 2h axe on his back.a swordzerker with a 2h axe?goa learn your classes ffs

Kalgarn, my apologies, I should have been clearer. Sanya was correct. GOA doesn't have the functionality (hehe...sidestep of what exactly they don't have ) to implement extended events. Hence my LARGE events. Events we've see thus far are classified as medium to small. Every realm/server has had them. They are once off and are usually over in under 2 hours. What I term as "Epic Events", will take far longer, and will be a real challenge to all.

I swear I've asked a 1000 times to be allowed to have Gjalp for just 1 day. I just know she'll look good sitting in Emain.

So, basically, was my fault for not clarifying on the large vs medium vs small.

Hats off to the Event "runners".
