euro to U.S. daoc

Hi all would anyone know if its possible to some how change euro copys of daoc Si & TOA to connect to the U.S. servers ?
the reason i ask is i play the euro servers but my brother who lives in the states plays on the U.S. servers he has stoped playing now and has gave me his account to play , was just woundering if anyone knows if its possible to mybe somehow get my euro copys to patch to the U.S. server ( to save him sending the disks over)

yes just change the update.dat file with the american ips and patch to US servers.. i cant remember them offhand tho

no NF one, just download NF slap it in your daoc folder and start runing the patcher again.

would it work if I installed the client a 2nd time, so I dont have to pacth when/if I wanted to go back to EU one ?

and what about payment, surely I cant pay GOA to play on the US servers ?

yes install 2 clients.. and payment.. the account details for the US account you would need to enter into the Mythic Client and pay for the US account with them

yeah, once again I forgot to actually read what he wrote... I was getting so excited that I could play with some of my old friends on the US version that I didnt stop to realize that the above poster had access to a US account.

You can update, but you still need to buy the whole package (all US versions since they use a different cd-key) to register all the expansions at Mythic so there is no point in doing it at all., since Mythic won't have your account in their database.

cd keys shouldnt matter as his brother should have already registered some expansions maybe.. just the acc details after patch should work
