Euro Daoc Sucks For Us Brits

1.) The french/germen keep us behide for patchs.
2.) GOA suxs.
3.) The Servers are shit espcally Gorre what kind of test server is that ? the US test server Pendragon would wipe the floor with all are servers.
4.) Only 1500 on a test server that lags like shit and its 90% germen/french on the server.
5.) All the US got to test NF on there test server with no lagg and there accounts didnt have to be active 3 days befor launch.
6.) Why cant there be daoc for just the british not the shitty germen/french and hosted by a half decent company not GOA.
7.) The us are testing Catacombs now and are 2 patchs ahead of us soon to be more

Sometimes i wish i played us servers atlest they know how to run a game

1: True, it's because they have like 10% of their whole population that knows english.
2: Half true id say, GOA couldve gotten better servers for less crashes etc.
3: Gorre prolly have same crash rate as Pendragon had when they started nf-beta there, also heard they had same lag for a month+.
4: You think the server lags with 1500 peeps, what would happen with 3000 player limit? Also the German/French daoc-community is way larger than Prydwen+Excalibur, and when they host a server for entire europe, ofcourse it will be majority of scums(germ+fren) since they have way larger pop.
5: Think Pendragon has a limit of players like Gorre has, and their beta version lagged atleast as much as it does on Gorre.
6: Prydwen+Excalibur is for us who can read english, the rest servers is for those who cba to learn a whole wide language and keep it real with their native language.
7: This is of true suckage, it's only because they have to translate the entire patch to German+French, thats why it takes us 5months+ to get the patches.

And it would be nice to play us, if it wasn't alot of yanks playing there, because they are total fuckups. Try WoW on us, you will think the excal albzerg is a gentel touch compared.

We were miles behind in patches a long time ago. GOA patching has caught up a lot in recent times.

ye we came close once. when we got 1.68 they still had 1.69 a few weeks before NF arrived there. but we're still 2-3 months behind. if not more.

Its all about the money - french customers and german customers outnumber the english-speaking ones with so much it would be stupid of GOA to do us any favours.

Thats probably why they dont focus _that_ much on the english-speaking market since we fill about 1,75 server compared to germans and french.
