Average time from turning on an unprotected comp to infection by the first trojan/virus/spyrware etc = 13 min

An uprotected comp *will* get infected, and as time goes by will get more and more nasty shit and eventually it will be all fooked up and useless. And every infected comp can infect others etc. So imo its a very good idea to install at least a software firewall, and preferably a hardware one (router).
