That seems like a good idea in most reguards, but won't that make relyable and timely patching / maintainance considerably more complicated?

Perhaps, but if the payoff is better stability dedicated language support and faster connections, im sure they will come out ahead :)

How many english speaking players there is left anyhow,20?

The quote is from a time where there was time to get something done about a situation which was there and that would just get worse.

GoA's support? ->

Customer: "Sorry, but I didn't fetch the reward (dragonslayer armor) from the 1.89 patch as I was confused about soft and hard leather armor (soft leather armor with dexterity bonuses which are useless for a Slash Infiltrator). I don't have the reward quest in 1.90 anymore, what can you do?"

GoA: "No problem, you can kill the mini dragons 6 times now to get you armor you've already earned yourself. Since the server you use to play on is empty, it should be no problem doing it yourself." = AKA the 12th reason cancel account.

I know that this is a combined Mythic/GoA problem, but the seasonal awards bullcrap they pulled off lately kinda shows their mentality: bad ideas SUPPORTED by no tools and no will to solve problems.

In other MMOGS a GM would check my quest logs and toggle everything for me.

I hope EA uses a standard customer support but I have little hope for the European part with GoA, regardless of contracts that should guarantee the same quality of service.

Sure the population issue got worse due to some magic client problems which Mythic nor GoA wouldn't want to resolve in the players favor.

I really hope that Warhammer will be a good enough product that will require little intervention from GoA.

Mythic/GoA can be happy a) about that they got such a strong brand for a conversion (Warhammer) so a lot people who don't know about their service will make the product a success and b) that the crew who was around can forgive.
