Errors in GOA notes on respec

Just read the notes at http://www.camelot-europe.com/news/newsarticle.php3?id_article=468 and found a few errors which need to be fixed. If someone could pass this on to them I'd appreciate it (no access to RightNow, right now)

1) "You can use your full re-specialise command within the next two levels after we patch the servers to 1.52
Let's see with some example :

Joe Bloggs is level 44 when we patch to 1.52, he therefore must use his "/respec all" ability before reaching level 47, or lose it.
John Bloggs is level 47 when we patch to 1.52, he must use his "/respec all" ability before reaching level 50, or lose it.
Jeff Bloggs is level 48 and will be able to keep his "/respec all" forever since he can only level twice."

Incorrect. You have to use the respec before levelling twice.
If you are 44, it must be used on 44 or 45. I.E. Before reaching level 46.
Only characters at level 49 or 50 will keep the respec indefinately.

2) "Partial re-specialisation
The partial skill re-specialisations are different, players will get them at level 20 and 40 and they can only be used at these levels.

All characters created before 1.52 can potentially gain access to partial skill re-specialisation, depending on their levels.

For example, for a character already created when we patch to 1.52 :

From level 1 to 20 included, he will gain access to two partial skill re-specialisation (one at level 20, another at level 40)
From level 21 to 40 included, he will gain one partial skill re-specialisation and only one (at level 40)
From level 41 to 50, he will not be able to re-specialise partially at all."

Incorrect. Level ranges quoted should be from 1 to 19 inclusive, 20 to 39 inclusive and 40 to 50 inclusive.

3) "Some examples with character created before the 1.52 :

Kemor is already level 34 when we patch to 1.52, he therefore missed his re-specialisation at 20 but will be able to use the level 40 one, at level 40. Because the character was created before the patch 1.52, he will also be able to use his /respec all command at level 34, 35 and 36 but will lose it at level 37."

Kemor would have to respec before reaching 36. (NOOB!)

4) Omitted is mention that you won't get a single line respec when you ding 20 or 40 if you still have your full respec available. So if you are 39 when patched, then go level to 40. Respec all, but make a mistake in a single line, you won't be able to respec that line as you don't have the single respec.

Thats the way I thought it worked to. Lvl 49 to keep respec forever.

If that is the case they are going to have to offer all lvl 48 characters some way of respeccing at 50. This offer will have to be one time only of course but will have to be available for all eternity.

They can hardly change it now as there are probably some level 48 characters out there who having seen the news may have reelaxed and stopped chasing the xp to get to lvl 49.

Lol to right :)

I decided to get back on the xp grind specifically to hit 49 before this patch came out. Why ? Because I would have to be 49 to keep the respec.

/em Wonders if the playerbase maybe better informed than GOA

But I know a couple of people who are lvl 48 and read the news yesterday. They then relaxed and didnt get any xp last night. So what happes to them if they dont make it tonight

Re-specialization, take II !
[2002-5-11]

Well, the command /respec all is a tricky one, that's for sure. We even had a little mistake in our own news ! Yesterday, when we detailed how to use the command /respec all, we explained that a character had two levels to use this ability (a level 44 character had to use /respec all before level 47)

Well, It's NOT the case ! !

The correct formula is as follow :
"You have two levels to use your /respec all, your current level when we patch to 1.52 is included in these two levels !"

For example :

A character level 35 when we patch to 1.52 will be able to use the /respec all at level 35 and 36. At level 37, it will be too late !
A character level 48 when we patch to 1.52 will be able to use the /respec all command at level 48 and 49, but at 50, it will be too late !
A character level 49 when we patch to 1.52 will be able to keep his /respec all at long as he wants.
The previous news has been edited to reflect this and is therefore correct now.

Sorry for the confusion, but now we all know how tricky can be the re-specialization...

They haven't fixed parts 2 and 4, but those probably aren't such a big issue.
