Error?

Yo.

I have been having this strange bug recently after i got new computer and downloaded clasic+si+toa+cata and nf and so on
Evry time i go to some frontier i get disconnected and the screen says: an error has occured You have been disconnected.
and it doesnt say wich error it is so i am kind of clueless, and wondered if anyone knows how to get rid of it ?

oh and yes i got Direct X 9

I changed from my "built-in" network card to a €7 one when i got those errors and after that it works like a charm. had a couple of friends with the same problem also...

otherwise check for new drivers for your network-card..

and uhm.. dont think i have anymore ideas for now. hope it helps

Check the tech section, much better source of help. Then the following:

Network card drivers: DO NOT USE the microshat ones, get the ones from the makers site only.

Sound / Graphics do the same, dont just get the "latest", get the ones recommended by your provider (eg MSI, Asus etc)

Update DX9c, always a must.

Make sure you have installed NF in the correct directory.

As said to about a gazillion and a half maggots on tech section.

This might help you, Check PROPERTIES on network card, Press ADVANCED TAB, try to find "Hardware Checksumming" and make shure it is turned OFF.
This is the cause of 99,9996% of people new computer/nic problems.
The other .0004% is space debris falling down exploding your computer.
