I remember my first day in SI or so and seeing this army of purple con mobs heading for the bridge. Maybe there is some quest or maybe they are like the nomads in ToA.

Yeah, I was once playing with a friend of mine who was a complete noob and by coincedence we saw Kraken. My friend was absolutely amazed, I'm not sure exactly why, but he just found it incredible. At about midnight I decided to quit and logged out on Atla beach and when I returned about 12 hours later my friend was still there, he'd been waiting in the hope of seeing Kraken again because I'd told him it was quite rare.

(He never did see it again )

you should have told him how to take screen shots, that way he could watch it all day

Hehe, I remember sitting there under a tree and just chatting when all of a sudden a gazillion rats rushed past me.
I was like "What the hell was that?" then ran around trying to find proof my mind had not made them up... never saw this again.
