merchant keep quest(similar to bg quests)

A while ago while Rvring we took bledemeer faste the mid merchant keep. I got a message you have completed the "mechant keep 2 quest" or sometihng like that, at the time i thought it may be like the recently added battleground quests which when done give about a level though at 46 i thought the exp would be pretty small .2 of a bulb or something like that. Well i was in camelot a while ago talk to commander kise and he gave me a medallion as i thought he might, when i gave it to the next guy (forgot his name but he's in the barracks on the ground floor) i got the real suprise it gave me about 4.5 bulbs (at 45-46),around 7.8billion which i was very suprised at. Anyway i'm wandering if this can be done again by taking dun crauchon and get the award again , the quest completion message did have a 2 at the end which implies there would be a 1st. So does anyone know?

I think this refers to the quests where a courier is spawned and if it is killed by an enemy realm on its way to its destination keep, the killer (and their group if applicable) get a reward.

In your case someone in your group probably killed it and you didn't realise.

The couriers are tough sods and red con at 50 iirc so you might want to take a friend or two if you plan trying it again.

you're right about that mirieth
the quest you are writing about is the 2nd merchant keep quest, where you need to be in lvl range:

40~45 and RR2L5 (25kish rps)

look it up at the camelot-europe faq

anyways, on completion you'll get 7,5 ish billion exp- that's 7 bulbs at lvl 44 and 5 bulbs at lvl 45
better than 5 hours at fins imo

the first merchant keep quest is for level 36-40. Works just like the 2nd ( be in a merchant-keep when it is captured), and gives about a full lvl of xp ( depending on when you hand in the medal).
Couriers is something completely different: they only give cash, and you have to get the kill-task from your tele-keep, or the protect-task from the courier itself. Besides that couriers seem to be bugged in the current version.
