Can we see whats behind the auto-updater on your desktop?
Normally you get that message because you've applied a beta patch which is older than the version you'd get from the auto-updater but which cant be directly upgraded. Or sometimes you get it cos the autoupdater is just crap.

My desk top is very messy. Doubt you'd want to see a load of files dotted around a black landscape with a woman in the middle? :}

HAd that too...
I had the same problem....
Just got the patch from the Tribes 2 Download Center and installed it ...
But now the Barrysworld servers are not listed in my host list anymore... booohooo!
