Epic armours

For those 50s out there who have done your quest, what's your opinion of it? Good, bad, excellent? Comment

Personally I find the cleric armour to be rather poo; some pieces rock and some are hardly worth using (Hauberk and gloves are quite bad; if you're not a smiter the gloves might be better, though), and I prefer the Doom arms over the Epic ones at present. The general lack of any kind of decent DEX bonus is another annoying factor.

Paladin armour is very good --- but all those piety bonuses!!!

Miss the parry bonus of my cailleach gauntlets - but you just can't argue with 100 af 100 quality, whatever the bonuses they come with I guess.

The breastplate has a charged shield but I've no idea how to use it. Answers on a postcard to...

Can I just add here big respect to the huge SoTL group who were taking out Urugaig earlier in the evening. Some of the Defenders crew helped myself and a few other Paladins/Clerics kill Sister Blythe earlier - so we stuck around to help them.

The invitation from Gideon for them to come join the SoTL questers was much appreciated.

The difference in difficulty level between killing Sister Blythe and killing Urugaig just a bit silly. Thank God I'm a Paladin

Last night was sooo sucky

Was in the quest group and died (I think I was the only one) when Urugaig had virtually only a sliver of health Talk about Bitterness

Oh well congrats to the other ones who did it yesterday.

Well, I like the paladin armor but I already changed 2 pieces to my old armor just because of the better bonus. In doing this I only lost about 9 AF and the quality on the boots and helm but my stats have a difference of 16 strength and 12 dex so I'm happy to sacrifice my epic boots and helm for my older ones (being Crushed Boots and Holy Crushed Helm)

what you do is make a shortcut to your armour on the hotbar then press e (I think) and hold it and then click on the hotbar icon.

I got my Wizards Epic armor yesterday, and I gotta say: It rocks =)
I had almost no +dex items, before I got it... now I have capped dex (int is capped, too, but it was capped before epic armor, anyway ) Now I only need a few more +con items and I'm all set
Resists are nice, too, now I only have to wait for patch 1.50, to get those funky graphics, hrhr

Thanks again to all who helped me yesterday, was great fun.
Although it's kinda weird, that you need about 2 full groups for Defenders epic, and only about 4 ppl to do the sacademy one =)
