+ Envenom

Can anyone help locate some + envenom items.

In the BG at L24 at the moment with 17 in envenom. The L15 DoT is ok, but would love to be able to get +3 envenom and access the L20 DoT.

Tried the Jewel from DF, but its a L50 item and cant be used.

Im not 100% sure that it works like that... I think that to use 20 envenom poison, you must actually train your skill to 20 and that magical items will not give you access it. This is certainly the way of things with weapon moves...

The only other Alb items i can think of off hand are

Virulent fishing hook +2 env (jewellery slot)-Danoan Fisherman

Regal Gloves +3 env Lyn Barfog Epic( I think King or Fester)

ShadowWoven Gloves +4 (Epic armour)

And next patch, the Ring of Shades from the lvl 43 step of your epic will give +2 env

These are the only other env items bar the df jewel afaik, there used to be a thruster and a slasher drop in barfog from Diamondback toads with +env but that was changed and removed in 150 i believe, but any pre patch thrusters still retain the env bonus, but expect to pay a serious amount for them IF you can find one

Envenom is one of the only ones that doesnt follow the other scheme of things, if you have 17+3 envenom, the bonus lets you use whatever level venom your spec is with items, ie you can use a lvl 20 DoT with 17+3. Hope thats a help

Yes... + envenom items WILL allow you to use the envenom of that level, even if you have not actually trained the skill that high... my own envenom is 39 +9 with items allowing me to use the 45 level DOT at the moment....

... naturally I will be getting 50 envenom soon, which I will be testing out with my volunteer from the audience, Solid, The People's Thane

+5 over your lvl i heard is the max for poisons so at lvl 24 you are able to use lvl 29 poisons if you can get your envenom to 29 that is.

Aye Faf good point, lvl spec cap is (lvl/5)+! rounded up, so youll always be tied by that as well as the lack of env items

Well thanks for the replies over the items with +envenom... Dont think ill be able to get the +3 i need at this level.

Already knew that +enven works and its not true enven that counts, also knew about the +5 cap for the BG (at L24)

I thinkl when i hit the 350 RP cap, ill be recreating the character.

+envenom are very rare items and doubtful you can get some at your level (maybe +1)

virulent fishing hook jewel with +2 env applies to lvl24. get it from lyonesse, lvl42 ish item, drops of danaoins.
