Is there a way I could set the game up so that i dont have to put the password in EVERY time?

Cant you just memorize it its rather simple.. i memoed it after the 10th log on .... its easy just memorize it by the keys positions.

put it in a textfile and use copy + paste. i think typing it is easier though

Yeah obviously I could memorise it. I use the .txt file method atm but thought that the software developers would have made it so that you could save the password. I guess you can't in that case then, thx.

i have my .txt right next to the icon a quick double click and all is well

HAve to agree with Ivan there, it's is only what... 8 digits with caps or no caps and numbers , easy as your back account number

I'm an accountant and I can't remember my bank account number, lol You see my problem now

i just get my brother to do it for me, get ur mom or somthing to just type your password in, simple, while he does that, i make a cup of tea and pop to the shop

Yeah make a txt file on your desktop so I can make worm that gets all the text files on your desktop and e-mails them to me...
Seriously, write it down on a paper, put the paper in a SAFE place where not even your 'friends' will see it and then memorize it. You'll get it soon enough

er, did someone miss the point? this topic was not about "how can i stop being an idiot and forgetting my pass all the time" it was about "is there a way to get past the irritating fact that i actually have to bother ENTERING the password i already know or have in an easy copy/paste place".
it's about ease of use, not whether you CAN use it

this is what i do
put the password in the comments box in the shortcut properties of ur daoc shortcut.
right click shortcut then copy pass in comments and paste into login screen = simple
edit: and err to make it auto would meanmaking a 3rd party program or altering the program itself afaik against the CoC
