I've never seen a game like it. Really thought we had blown it when Jones dropped the catch with 15 needed... :drink:

If McGrath is out for the rest of the series then it just might be our year. I would still drop Bell for Collingwood and bring back Read behind the stumps.

Bell needs one more game to see what he has. I'd like to see him mature with this game and not be sent off to the county game untill he's too old.

Leave Geriant where he is and possibly think about Collingwood instead of Hoggy if the next one is a spin pitch. I'd rather have Collingwood bat and bowl some dibbly dobbly instead of Hoggy failing to swing it.

Had a guy try to explain cricket to me once, he took the hump when after 15mins I turned to him and said "so it's a bit like rounders then?"

;)

How was it very nice play? Its not like football where you get the ball inside your own half, skin 4 players before unleashing a shot into the far top corner. Its cricket. All you do is whack a ball with a bat. Even a monkey can play cricket. Golf has overtaken cricket in the "watchable" stakes and thats saying something.

Convicts will win anyway

Watching Freddie Flintoff hit Brett Lee on the elbow at 90mph was more watchable then any Scottish bloke in bad trousers and a silly hat.

imo of course ;)
