We were a tad lucky with the penalty if you ask me, Owen was only just clipped. Another ref in another game and that could easily have never been a penalty.....

Gotta disagree. Just actually look at the work Heskey has done off the ball, theres several times he's tracked back and made important tackles and helped out, getting an England surge forward back on track. He's there to compliment Owen with his sheer physical presence. The attack where Owen hit the post, it was Heskey that made the initial tackle.

Was good, boss took us all down to an expensive bar in islington. Quality atmosphere, loads of noise and drink, all behind England and many insults towards the argies!

imo it wasn't Poll's fault - it was in fact the fault of the dodgy linesman... sorry Referee's Assisstant...

He was the main culprit as Poll looked to him for a decision on the Inzaghi goal - and got told that the Vieri one was offside when it was clearly not..
