Owen made many great runs which opened up the defence for others, was all over the park supporting the midfield and set up 2 of the goals.

The fact that he hasnt scored aside, he did have a good game.

Nice game ... Croatia fought with great bravery, untill 2-1, after that they kind of gave up.

The Croats were fighting till the end and I respect them for it. They kept the game interesting and kept England on their toes until time was up. Only time when I felt that their heads had gone down was when our 4th went in, but even then they had a few chances. Credit to them for making the match entertaining the whole way through.

Agree. He always seems to cause the opposition more problems than Owen. I like the way Sven uses him though. He waits for the opposition to tire in the second half then he brings on Vassell and he just explodes through their defenses, getting dangerous free kicks etc. He really is a great player, and a bit of a secret weapon for England atm really as I don't think he is recognised by other coaches in the tournament.

vassell has got speed he can run like the wind the problem is he isnt as creative as owen up front imo its better to keep owen on in first half to keep the pressure on the opposing side then when there tired we unleash vassell on em ppl are tired by then and as i said vassell can run fast with someone like that we can get a great breaking run and create chances out of nothing great tactics by sven.
