Enemy realm shooting on our pad

Could mystic mabye fix this asap? Some idiot is shooting us on the pad in Svasud Faste, yes someone called Lucchini, either hib or alb. This is just to stupid, getting shot for 500 dmg on the pad while porting to BG with my savage.. whee 10% hp left, get a life plz!!!!!!
Just wanted to spend my last day in daoc haveing some fun, but ofc I should have known that a whole day's worth of fun is to much to ask for

FFS!!! as i was writing the previous post i died on the pad. How fun, getting killed by a lvl 50 inside my own realm. Yes this is whine... so qq as much as you want... but its just so insanly irritating.

But it's not illegal to shoot at somebody inside their portal keep. Read that somewhere. It's only illegal to be inside the enemy realm.

+Range from TOA, though its more likley whoever it was setup a piece of seigeweaponary which has range well beyond clip.

Was happening for a while pre ToA, there was a ranger who used to volley on Svasud pad, not siege equipment and did not need ToA bonus to range. Just a pity Mythic did not give all realms pks the same advantages disadvantages etc etc rant rant.

Sorry for the delay on this, we had many reports about this very incident and yours was just transfered.
Shooting inside a Border keep, as long as you do not use any possible game bug to do so, is not considered in itself as a bug exploit. The border keeps, like Svasud Faste, are considered as "frontier zone".
However, these border keeps are not meant to be crossed in any way. The frontiers areas ends at the border keeps, and includes them.

Take a treb to either of the Alb BKs and you can get them. It's why they are being moved in patch 1.70, to prevent people from doing it as it also fubars up the portal ceremony.

Intresting that there are only albs saying QQ, whine and so on. Well it might not be a "abuse" or what ever, but whats the point of doing it when you
1. dont get any RP
2. prolly only kill lvl 24ish on their way to bg

Volley is Realm Abillity, they spend their points, on firing arrows randomly inside their ground target, you were just the lucky one to get shot.

thats not why they're being moved tho, they're being moved because the mid and alb bks are inside the old fronteir zones of sauvage / uppland, so they're being moved back into cam hills / wotever mid one is - so that mythic can /delete sauvage zone and uppland for new fronteirs.

It's common knowledge of any archer that it's possibly to volley pk's and borderkeeps.. but as Tesla says, not much fun volleying a borderkeep as u get no rp's doing this.. anyway.. it's not hard to figure out where the archer is hiding as u need to be in a high area to be able to shoot that long.. my bot was hit by Lucchini that day too.. i told in /as and /b that he was there and ported my hunter to svas, but he was gone when i got there..

And yes.. i volley pk's from time to time when i'm bored, or if the fighting is around pk.. can't see this is more wrong to do than camping a pk with a lot of stealthers or what ever.. think most hunters with volley has done this, at least to try it out..

Anyway.. killing grey's in a borderkeepk can't be much worse than killing grey's outside a borderkeep.. maby even worse outside cause u know they are grey.. u dont know what u hit when u volley.. or killing grey's in DF for that sake.. but don't spend time writing about it.. just go kill the archer instead =)

Hehe well I agree with you, you cant see what you hit, just dont see the point. And about killing him, kinda hard when you are lvl 24 . I was heading to BG, cba to log a 50 toon. And just for the record I dont usealy kill grey cons in DF either, ofc it happends. One situation im feeling bad about, is when a few m8's and me went to the hib side when they actualy had DF, and I mjolnired a whole greycon group to death... that was mean and i was a bad boy I always get killed in DF no matter what lvl I am , but that might be cuz I always attack any enemy I see, always greate fun attacking a RR8 infil with a lvl 25
And last time i cheked this is a forum, I do think you agree with me when I say that the meaning of a forum is to discuss things, also things that some think is lame, while other enjoyes it. But feel free to shoot at my savage again, this time i will come out and play :wub:

Don't misunderstand me m8.. not accusing anybody here.. just saying that many stealthers from all realms are having fun logging inside DF to be able to log in while DF is taken by another realm.. running around killing everything that moves.. and i know that not everyone logging down there are killing grey's.. but also know that many are.. I still remember being killed 4 times in 10 minutes by Kreig when my own SB was in her mid 20's.. didn't find that very funny, and didn't make me respect the player doing this.. makes u think that the poor guy doesn't have the gutts to go fight some1 on his own lvl..

And ofcause u can't go fight a lvl 50 ranger/scout with a lvl 24 savage.. but there are allways a lot of high lvl mids in svasud.. why isn't any1 ready to miss a port, kill an archer and catch emain 10 mins later that one time..

So basicly i really don't disagree with u this time either.. just saying that killing grey's in borderkeep, DF or anywhere else is the same to me.. and i think it's foolish.. even tho if a grey appears in Emain, Odins or places where RvR action is the main purpose, well ofc they asked for it..
