enchanting the stuff you`r sc`ing

the other day i forgot to enchant the stuff i was gona sc, and halfway through i enchanted it ( 3 of 6 pieces ), every piece is now 35% bon.. i wonder - is this supposed to be ?

earlier in my daoc-year i got told you _HAD_ to enchant it before you sc`d it .. please tell me what its all about ;o

Earlier in your years - you were told misleading information.

Why enchant it before you SC? Will only cost you more money if it blows up - and it'll still enchant to 35% if you do it after; is there something I've missed?

Some peoples ignorance about spellcrafting is matched only by the ignorance of some spellcrafters about spellcrafting

If I meet another Legendary SCer who doesnt know how to enchant items Ill scream

I enchant always after the SC'ing, never before and it always worked well.

In fact you can do it any time you like at what level you like it to be. You can add enchantment in different steps up to the 35 %. It has nothing to do with the overcrafting stuff which you have to do in one time.

I think alot of SC'er know how to enchant but tell you they don't know because it is a bitch to do (well, used to be, never tried it anymore after the last patch).

It involved appraising enchant-price at NPC, buying enough dust for 40% etc etc..

all crap, I just told customers very often 'Sorry I dunno how to do it' because it is a pain in the ass job to do

Well by this stage Ive 'taught' a ridiculous number of SCers how it works, at least a couple of which were 1k+ skill at the time.

Given the pathetic standards of Mythic's documentation on this, its not surprising that its not too well understood - still makes me laugh/scream depending
