Hello.

i was wondering if anybody can explain enchaning items . and what exactly it does and how long does it last .

the reason i ask is because i play a scout and i want her to be the best equiped she can be . i think i got most the best stuff for my lvl ..
but i was wondering what happens when i enchant my Bow / Bracers / rings/ amulet / armor ,,,,

does it enchance the dmge of the bow . enhance the Af of the armor ? and does it make the stats on the bracers/rings/amulets higher ? ie: amulet with +10 after enchanted it might become 15st ? ....

how long does it last for ?

When you examine an item, the bottom-right stat will be the 'Bonus'.

Enchanting an item gives it a bonus. For offensive weapons, it will be a bonus 'to hit' and for defensive items(armour/shields), a bonus to your defence.

You can enchant Steel items and above, and Steel items get a 5% bonus. Add 5% for every additional level of material. For instance, I've forgotten the metal above steel, but it gets a 10% bonus, the one above that gets 15% and so on.

I'm not sure about enchanting jewelry, I've never tried it myself.

You can not enchant any jewelry since they are already magical (all jewelry with stats are quest items or rare drops). Dunno if you can enchant some of the trinkets you can make by crafting but I got no idea what good they could do.

It last till the item breaks and its not that expensive. Could afford it at level 10 (steel shield cost like 25 silver i think, or was it 8s?)
