It's a fitting title, trust me :p

Discussion goes as follows;

Person A says "everyone listening to emorock(and so forth) is so emo".

Person B, me in this case, say "Not true, for even if emos isten to emorock(etc), this does not mean everyone listening to emorock is emo."

Person A disagrees still.

Person Me says; "Look at it this way. Do games cause violence? Ofcourse not, violent people cause violence. Everyone playing games is not violent, even if violent people play games. So if you believe emomusic makes you emo, then you must also sign up for some game-hating propaganda."

The point here in clear cut form being; Liking Y does not make you X, even if X subscribe to Y.

Unless Y=cock, then you're probably X.

Thoughts?

One thing I do know - listening to rap turns you in to a cock.

i agree i like the odd "emorock" songs if not band but to look at me you would lable me as some one who is in to hard rock.

for me my music taste goes from soft pop to hard metal passing through rap and jazz and stopping off at the blues every so often :)

all in all like you sed

liking y dosnt make you x

Well that seems relatively obvious. Change the formula though:

As a bloke, being sexually aroused by men does make you at least bisexual, if not gay. ANd vice versa ofc for women. For some things you might need an x, y and Z.

Unless you meant that with the =cock comment...

What I will say about kids (as I'm a teacher) is that so often in an attempt to try and be 'alternative' and 'different' so many of them end up conforming to a different style and all look the fcuking same. Oh the irony. :p

The whole 'emo' music thing is a bit of a strange topic really.

Its more of a look, alot of music is 'emotional' it just comes with different emotion.

The whole emo/scene look has passed anyway ;D

There are many good 'emo' bands.

I like most genres of music, apart from generic indie or pop music.
