Emain zergs and the whiners...

Was going to post this in another thread, but I think it deserves a thread of it's own.

Why are you all whining over Emain zergs at all? Yes Albs zerg, yes Mids zerg, heck even Hibs zerg from time to time. Emain is zergland, stop bitching over it. Thinking that you can go to Emain and expect not to zerg/be zerged is probably one of the most stupid things you can do in this game. And running around as 1-2fgs in Emain saying "we aren't zerging" is just fooling yourself. Right around the corner is the next 1-2 fgs or more, Emain isn't that big after all.

Personally I avoid Emain almost like the plague. Why? Because I'm not too fond of zergs. I usually head to Hadrian's or Odin's a spin, and hope I'll find a group somewhere. If I however do go to Emain some time I know what to expect, zergs everywhere. Alb zergs, Mid zergs, SotL and Warders (or whatever guilds are doing it now) running around fooling themselves that they aren't zerging. When entering Emain all should actually be forced to sign a document, "I hereby admit that I will be part of a zerg, or alternately be zerged. And by...". -- You get the picture.

I'm a bit sick over people screaming "Albs zerg!", "Mids zerg!", "We don't zerg!", "Yes you do!". -- When entering Emain you should all be considered zergers.

I will probably be flamed to hell and back for this but I don't care much. I regard this as a fire and forget whine over zerg whiners. Bring on the "cry more n00b!!!11" and the likes...

Mmmm, might be the most stupid question ever, but what is considered a zerg than?

I mean, when yer in 1fg and you have the capability to put down 3fg ... are you a zerg than? or are you only a zerg when you are 1fg+? or are you just a zerg when you have the capability to put down 2fg+?

Bah! We all just love the RP :p

One group that just runs around aimlessly, only relying on their numbers to win = zerg.
(example: 8 level 40s attack 2 level 50s and win only due to outnumbering them. The 50s "got zerged".)

Ten groups with a clear goal and leadership = an army.
(example: 100 level40s dominates Breifine, groups posted at borders to the other zones for early warning and act in conjuction and follow orders given by a leader.)

The first one would never be called a zerg here, the second would definately, despite the fact the second is much less of a zerg.

Then again, it's only my view on it.

You say you avoid Emain, yet you pretend to know what's going on there?

Might seem stupid to you, but my point is that if you are in Emain you are zerging, no matter what numbers you are. Running around solo? You are zerging, because the rest of the zerg is not far away. Let's not forget that Emain is after all just a single zone, and more and more people are starting to go there regularly for some fast action. There is a limit to how much people that can occupy a zone until it becomes crowded, and that limit has been passed several months ago at peak hours, despite the fact that Prydwen is a less populated server. By just being in Emain you are contributing to the overcrowding of the zone and is therefore zerging.

Note that I'm not saying that you shouldn't spend time in Emain. Some people go there for the fast paced action, and of course the rps. Sure, go there and have fun, but don't come back here to BW and whine over zergs.

I've been to Emain quite a bit in my days of course. After all I've been here since beta. :)

Avoiding Emain is something I've decided to do the last few months. I've still been there now and then though, even during these months, it's just not on a regular basis.

Then surely you aren't the right person to judge wether or not someone is zerging. :p

Well some ppl whine about zerg some dont ( i do sometimes).
But some ppl whine about zerg when they are between pk->mg,
that is pretty well dumb as all know that all alb or mid (emain) that have ported will move the same way or be close to each other.. The forces split up after the mg's most of times.

And the main reason that it will come out a zerg is the ppl that dont leave the mg's when they have got thier asses to em..

So what to do .. give each realm 1 or 2 more pk's in each front, another way to get thru if mg's are camped or just a lvl 45-50 Bg.

Well if u run around with 1fg u aint zerging imo.. The idea is kill fast and get moving fast so the other alb/hibs that are around dont find you.. But if u run into 3fg runing together thats pretty damn hard to do as u will die.
