Elven Arrows

Dropped by Teg Rangers in Pennine Mountains.

Are they good?

I dont have too much of them , so I cant make statistics, but I'd like to know, if these drop arrows are better or worse than the merchant arrows.

I used them once in RvR, I shot Melgar (a midgardian caster, thats all I know of him/her) with my lvl46 scout, with Bow of Doom.
I damaged 655 (critshot), then 450 (normal shot) and Melgar died.

I usually dont damage that much, maybe it was because of the arrows.

Yesterday I collected another 20 Elven Arrows (slash),
and the Teg Rangers also dropped Barbed Elven Arrows (thrust), I must go and test them, all test-volunteers are welcome in the frontier zones tonight...

they aint better than the old best arrows (~24s). they certainly aint better than the new best arrows that came in last patch (~74s i think?) which are Xlong Xheavy Xaccurate and come in slash thrust and crush damage types (scroll down at your local arrow merchant).

The 74s arrows are Xlong, Xheavy, Xaccurate, and qua 85% ,
Elven Arrows are Xlong, Xheavy, Normal Accuracy, qua 89%.

I dont know if the quality of arrows does make a difference or not... if quality makes difference in damage , or to-hit calculations, we should better use crafted arrows.

From test logs I have seen the scout TL make, quality of arrows has no effect on the damage.

I used to have some of those as my lucky arrows

They hit keens for double dmg
