Elite PSU sounding like a vacum

well i got my elaite not long ago, hardly ever used it till this week. at first i thought it was the console making aircraft type sounds like my old premium did. while cleaning the mrs accidentally switched the 360 on and noticed that its actually the psu. a call to ms support says elites dont have psu's with fans inside only the very first batch of premium/arcade units did.

anyone else psu makes a noise?

Nope mate, I think they packaged you the wrong psu. Could you maybe claim a fualt in it and get it swapped out?
