I am looking for a good Eldritch guide.
I found some, but they aren't that good. Also, a few good hunting grounds would be nice. Post your favorite hunting grounds here.

lvl 23: Gorge
lvl 24: Giant ants in Shannon Estuary/Gorge

The keyword is trees :)

Start on the young irewoods, then to the normal irewoods, then to the grovewoods (if you feel like a bit of a challenge :p ), then irewood greenbarks. Trees are nice and slow giving you plenty of time to get those bolts/nukes in.

Info of this kind can usually be found on IGN Vault boards (http://camelotvault.ign.com) as long as you're willing to trawl thru the whine threads. Think there's a thread on the Hib Magicians boards which is tilted something like Eldritch Solo Hunting Guide, some decent stuff there.

Eldritch Guide

Soloing as an eldritch kinda depends on your spec - but the guide at www.mypetmage.com is pretty helpful.

Trees are definitely easy to solo, but also (when they con yellow) I found lesser banshees near the irewood greenbarks in Cullen to be quick and safe solo - as long as you remember they have an insta-dd they use every now and again - if they hit you with that run away, they almost always follow up with another cast when they enter melee and that = dead eldritch.

Phaeghouls are not too bad either, except they are resistant to cold, which is a pain. On a list of things to leave well alone when soloing - Zephyr Wraiths, they are ungodly quick and if anything goes wrong you die. Vehement Guardians . . . ditto.

Anyway it is late, and I shall cease my ramblings.
