Now I have farmed the sobeks 3 times and done linos with with my necro and bot.
Everytime ive gotten a bag of coins and nothing else.. not even cred for the arti.
Ive been Khonorn and turned the sobeks in to get the half key then ive talked to Linos and given him the key before I kill him.

Anyone else had this happend to them?
Is there a timer on Linos so I must kill him in a certain amount of time after giving him the key, cause it takes some time to kill him with only the focus shield on necro.
Any help would be nice

Sure I read somewhere about a 10 minute timer to kill him after giving him the key?

Give him the key when hes at 10% health.

I dropped the half key on him when Linos was at 40% health and I started hitting. I got encounter, key and chestpiece

Killed Linos a couple of times with a small group and twice or so with a ML9 sorc. Gave him the key before we/I attacked and got credit each time, iirc. The fights lasted for a couple of minutes, not too long though. Got the arti only once so far.

Did encounter 4 times before i got the arti , gave him key before the fights

Done the enc 6-7 times on hib with ml9 ench and it has dropped everytime except once.. but ive always gotten credit atleast.. that was the thing that botherd me..
think it must be a timwer or something.. will try to give key at 10% next time i find him up

The chestpiece drops randomly
Btw I love the encounter partly because of the random drop and partly because of the idol's -only encounter I love more are malice.

I just popped key on him before fight and killed asap was no problem i got credit and arti.Oh and it was ages ago before i got the key from khonorn =p.

Yes, like people said, 10 minutes after you gave him the key he needs to be killed.

The drop rate of the arti is still low even after the ToA rework. Linos seems to spawn more often tho.

Giving key before or during the fight doesn't change a thing. You're doing nothing wrong.

I have had to kill him 3 times on average to get the drop.

It's like Cloudsong used to be: not a 100% drop. Only, you don't get a message saying the arti got "destroyed" when there is no drop.
