EF Request (XP Maps, Specialities, Voting)

I used to be a big fan of Barrysworld EF servers until it just was not fun anymore playing the same old maps. It is really a shame as your servers are the most reliable and ping is great.
I ended up moving onto other servers like NGUK for the availability of XP maps, specialties and voting.

With NGUK gone I think I and many others are at a loss as no one it seems is hosting a reliable specialties server, allow of map voting and Expansion Pack maps. Considering NGUK Specialties servers were full most of the time and many EF Barrysworld servers are empty do you think you could add EF Specialities, XP maps and voting?

I think many of your empty servers would not be unused if you add these options. thx

specialties along with other modes for the XP are being looked at
they have been available on the bookables as a test for gauging interest. I will have a chat with starman (EF Liaison) about getting some more public opinion on this matter.

well well well........LOL!

personally i can se ehow ure getting bored with them... as i myelf am, now that NGUK has gone.....sure a few games of geo and and1 and faceoff rock..... but after like nearly a year... we need action from the XP!!!!

there are like over 22 maps from the XP that rarely get used in BW, it showed how much bloody people loved assim and specialties with NGUK, as they had like 2/3 servers of them full up !!!!

thats like 48 players full up right away, and i know ure saying u will be sorting something out, but in the mean time we are left playing normal CTF etc :/

these TDM AND FFA servers are always stuck on dn3 !!!!! arrrrghhhhh we cant even vote the damn map off if we r in there alone!?!?!? somewt has to be sorted there....

and : plllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz get some specs or assims servers (((

also, do BW have any of the custom maps form places like www.tgtslair.com ?????? cos there are soem quality maps there, and peeps like them

Deathace, are we getting any closer to this? With NGUK gone and Barrysworld hosting just the basic maps the game is rapidly dieing. At any one time most of your EF servers are empty.

It's aout time BW did put XP maps on how about this.

4 of the 8 BW CTF servers run the usuall standard maps that they are running now. So ppl with out the XP can still play.
2 o the 8 CTF servers run the Normal maps as well as the XP maps.
The other 2 CTF sservers run specialities CTF 1 with standard maps and XP maps and the other with Custom maps like Geo3, water Zone.

Like with the 8 FFA servers (is it 8 ?) they can do the same just For FFA.

for TDM 2 assimilation, 1 Specialities TDM and one the standerd maps.

please can BW hurry up on this. Ef will die very soon if u do not act soon. Bw is the only major server provider to run EF so we have little option to use it.

Hello, there is no XP servers cos they only sold 23 copies of the XP in the UK.

I wasn't one of the 23 and I'm quite happy with the current setup thanks !!

i know 30 peeps in my clan alone who have the XP, all form the UK...

just because u r happy, cos u didnt fork out £20 on the XP, doesnt mean we r!!! we want servers and with BW we aint getting them !

hehe 23! some how i think not. It was in the pc SHARTS FOR 2 OR 3 weeks @ number 3 so i think it sold more then 23.

I spent £20 on the XP and was disapointed with the extra Sp options as i am not a 'trekie' and couldn't carless about wondering about the maze that are voyagers decks. i bought it cos it contains new MP maps and new MP options.

The fact is that with out new servers with XP stuff on or new mods like power weapons or something, this game is gonna die in the next 6 months, it would be a great shame as this game has allot of potential to be just as good as quake3, and in my opinion, some aspects are better then Q3.

I beg with BW to gt some XP servers running .
