Tried it with my bb and scout, but could never get Rougart below 40-50% before the yellow crocs became too numerous and I'd have to switch to killing them. (18 thrust though, RAWR! )
Doesnt have to be a tank, any class will make it a piece of piss so long as they deal with the adds whilst you stick with Rougart, or vice-versa if you prefer.
Huh, those crocodiles never add. I've done it with my cleric while duoing with another cleric once. Takes freaking ages, but the other can heal fast enough. A friar with a healfont can solo it.
Well, I just want to say thanks to all who posted their Tricks & Hints here.
With our 1337 godlike CT attitude & with a little "help" from Jarvio(skilled nimblefingers) - we managed to get the arti.
For those who are interested, the stats for 1.81 are 6x5% Magic resists & 3x4% Melee resists making this artifact one of the highest util items & a somewhat better item then Harpy Feather Charm, sure you lose 44 hits but you gain 3 other resists.
It's pretty basic, as two fully buffed melee scouts we didnt have any trouble.
It used to be doable with Scout+bb combo but Mythic fixed Rougart a while back so it doesnt come to the mouth of the cave any more so you have to fight him inside. I have done it the old way on Gethin but not got close with the new version as I aggroed a ton of yellow con gator adds during the fight.
The new way isn't impossible but you would need a very specific scout setup, a long time to fight it (20+ mins), excellent positioning and a ton of luck.
Imho for a scout+bb combo you need the following scout set up.
Melee spec with 50 shield and MoB5 and as much MoP as possible.
Cleric drops heal ward and grabs Rougart aggro while scout assists and kills adds when necessary.
