Im not that :eek6: or even :eek7: since it's nothing THAT special.

It's cool that they find more stuff about...stuff, but i wish they'd find bigger ones. Bring in the whale killers!

What is that white beam coming out of it?! I'm worried now. Its either a laser beam or a long strand of milky white squid juice.

I've been half a foot away from a giant squid.

Ok, so it was dead and in the local aquarium, but it was still pretty cool.

Giant squid rock..

However the one you DON'T want to meet in a dark (and decidedly wet alley) is a collosal squid. Estimated to grow up to or over twice the sice of the Giant squid and rumored to be capable of taking on and beating a sperm whale in a fight...

It's just a shame there are no giant 10 meter cuttlefish, that would rock more...

Oh and whilst looking at this stuff they recently discovered a giant octupus over 4m in length and weighing 75kg.

I've read reports from the 18th/19th century of squid washing up on remote islands that were 120' long - dunno if there are any that big still around though - maybe we'll find one one day.

Main problem is we only see them dead and a lot of things like to eat dead squid so only a small percentage get spotted by humans.
