I know i have said this before krypt but why are you even considering building your own computer? I have spoken to you on irc and tbh i would be worried that it would all work out.

Processor with Drivers?? Cables?

Hi dmw, try and visit the link I provided, then READ what it says in the link.

Im sorry, but you also didnt know where the heck that card I had should go.

I build pc's every day, I don't know all the fluffy things about hardware but I can put the things together, im given a build sheet, pickup the bits, fit them in the case.

Krypt, I believe that is a generic disclaimer that you'll find on all second hand products from e-buyer.

That warning is generic for all ebuyers used products.

And that "thing" you had didnt go anywhere as it was over 7 years old. Plus with no picture or description you might have as well have asked me to point out where ur brain was

Edit: In future don't talk to me on irc ta.

Guess im not good at making people understand, you guys will have to learn to deal with my English.

"Hmm... would anyone say a used processor is ok? No cables, drivers ect? Just.. it saves me some cash"

Meaning, a used processor won't be missing anything because new ones don't come with cables, drivers and the other things the disclaimer mentions...

Surely if you build pc's you'd already know that cpu's don't need cables or drivers, new or otherwise. So why are you asking the question?

I explained that in my post? Why don't you read? It really gets to me when people can't just read.

If you don't understand that then I give up.

New processors, don't come with cables, drivers and other stuff mentioned in the disclaimer, why not? Because they don't need them, got that?

Now. This means that the chip should be ok if I buy the used one, as it will be missing nothing.

What are your opinions?

Yes it'll be fine, Ebuyer should of tested it since it is illegal to sell a faulty product thus it must work although no cable, drivers or manual are normally needed or required with a processor. I would think the only thing that might possibly be missing is the generic heatsink if it is indeed the Retail package on offer but again you should get a better HSF any way.
