Just wondering, im about to order tickets from ebay for a must see gig but most of them say that the tickets are not in their posession yet as they have to wait for the promoter to send them.

To me that sounds like a perfect excuse to not receive the tickets on time but is this normal practice? I would actually cry if i paid £140 for 2 tickets for my all time fave band who havent played in the uk for 10 years and didnt get to see them.

The moral is: don't buy tickets from eBay?

My sister got tickets from eBay to see Eddie Izzard last year, she wanted three and was lucky to find someone selling three who didn't want to split them, so she got a good price.

The guy has 100% pos feedback, 250 or so deals.

The gig is for the Pixies at the brixton academy.

just get tickets for v or t in the park (or many of the other festies they are playing) and see them there. Was a nightmare, I did secure two tickets for the gig myself but it was hellish. They did hold back some tickets but the advertising for when the extra went on sale was pityful.

as for ebay hopefully the seller is genuine.

good luck.
