I pwned myself (or rather my bro did i'm sure) and i've lost the CD for the sound drivers - even more so, I don't know what sound drivers I need. Any easy way to find out so I can have a search on ze internet for them?

Ta in advance.

Was it an installed PCI Card or built in to the Mobo? If built in simply go to the Mobo manufacturers site and use the P/N of the Mobo to get all associated drivers.

Run dxdiag from the Start\run box then click on sound tab - it should identify the board there. If not open case and look at the card itself.

Good luck.
