I don't believe for one moment he was banned purely for saying "STFU". Having played UO for 5 years i saw all manner of language used on a daily basis and even when EA bought UO nothing changed. The thing with UO is, if they get repeated complaints about you for anything they will find any small reason they can to give you a 72 hour break and following that permanent ban.

The only language i have seen GM's ban people for is racial slurs and the occasional twisted comment by a sick individual, apart from that STFU and all manner of swear words have been tolerated for years, at least in Fel anyhows, not sure how it is the otherside of the fence.

This has nothing to do with Mythic. Mythic has nothing to do with UO.

Mythic has the standing rule that if someone is harrasing you with bad language you HAVE to ask em to stop first, if they don't you can report em.

Reading that thread from the link - within the first few threads all I saw was racial slurs - "He's muslim" and some other not very nice stuff. Seems the mentality on that forum board is a bit juvenile.
As someone else mentioned, I'm sure he's probably a repeat offender and if anyone is going to try to convince us that "stfu" means anything else than what it means, he's having a laugh.
