NTL seem to be giving me E4 for free at the moment and fuck me isn't it shite? At the moment it's showing Big Brother live which seeing as it's Sunday morning and all the inmates are fast asleep is quite a long way from interesting TV. In fact right now it's a live shot of a sofa. With nobody on it. Gripping.

I'd be *so* fucked off if I was actually paying for that cobblers, have they no shame?!

Normally E4 is quite good, with the Sopranos, 6 feet under, etc all being shown there first. But when Big Brother comes along it turns into an utter shitefest..... shame really.

Incidentally, Play UK is actually one of the best channels on Sky in my humble opinion - Big Train, The Fast Show, Shooting Stars, Doctor Terrible's House of Horrible, Knowing Me, Knowing You, The Day Today.. the list goes on. Theres comedy gold in them thar hills!

Well seeing E4 only usually broadcasts from 6pm till the early mornin hours what would you like them to do? I'm sure it'd be much more thrilling if they just stuck a big E4 logo up when they had no scheduled programmes, but no they have to bore us with live coverage of the bb house, damn those inconsiderate bastards

NO! Film Four are going to spend less on investing in big-budget American flicks and concentrate on the smaller, British films which have always brought them more revenue and publicity anyway. As far as I know.

Well, i heard they were killing the FilmFour channel, and integreating the production studios back into the main Channel4 business. In terms of films being produced, this isn't a major blow, as perhaps FilmFour's best films were made before it was split into a seperate business in the first place. Stuff like 4Weddings.

I was getting E4 for free in my last place also on NTL cable. I just assumed it was totally free, maybe not though.

It was shite while big brother was on, but i liked watching JKX on it as that was quite good

Was gonna get sky at this place but all these 1 year min contracts are beginning to get on my tits now :/

Yeah, there's a "head of household" every week that picks 2 nominees for eviction. Then the housemates themselves vote for the eviction. Also, there's a competition to get the "power to veto", which allows the winner to remove one of the nominees and force the head of household to pick a new one. It works much better than the UK version imo.

e4 is a free channel, and its 24 hour if you have digital. Its only time limited on analouge.

PlayUK is a great channel, planet rock profiles is hilarious.
