DVI or VGA?

Just bought myself a new 19" TFT and im just curious to know the difference between dvi and vga. Whats the best option?

DVI.

Maintains the signal best. That is assuming you Video card supports DVI.

The whole picture signal is digital.

DVI means no analogue conversion so the picture is clearer and there is also less signal noise due to a better cabling design. If your graphics card and screen support DVI then you really need to get a DVI cable and switch over, the extra clarity is only marginal but your eyes will feel the benefit.
