Anyone know what would happen if you connect a DVI cable from one gfx card to another? Would it be possible to get it to work like you had a 2-way TV-in/out connection, or would there be a risk of short-circuiting it or would simply nothing happen?

The DVI port on most graphics card is an output port. It does not support incoming data. As far as i recall the only input/output port on most graphics cards is the ViVo connector.

If the port does actually fit chances are it will not short out rather nothing will happen, so why even try :)

Since the cable look the same on both sides and the connector in the screen looks the same aswell I wasn't too sure about whether or not it was output/input only. Thanks
